Wir nutzen dabei das Projekt SETI@home, ein im Hintergrund laufende Computeranwendung fasst ungenutzte - Leistung von vielen hunderttausend Computern über das Internet zusammen. Die Daten des Arecibo-Radioteleskopes werden von SETI@home auf Signale ausserirdischen Ursprungs geprüft.
